Attention Preppers For Sale: 6 Faraday Cage Bags in 3 assorted sizes *Attention buyers. Do not buy these bags to protect your cell phone or to hide your cell signal as you carry your phone. These bags are intended for use storing an emergency set of electronic devices to survive an EMP event. You should prepare your stash and keep hidden and safe. These are electro-static discharge bags (ESD) designed for protecting electronic devices from static discharge. You can repurpose these bags to defend against EMP by preparing your electronic devices in the following way: 1) wrap item in household aluminum foil; 2) put wrapped item in these ESD bags; 3) optionally you may “nest” your item by wrapping in aluminum foil again and placing in a a larger size ESD bag (repeat for more protection – each nesting layer increases EMI attenuation exponentially). This will be enough protection, however I recommend placing your item in another container to protect your packaging (I personally use ammo cans or the thicker metal ESD/EMI bags that I sell (see other listings from this seller). These bags are much cheaper then the very thick metal bags for sale elsewhere (or my other bags). This is a very effective and much cheaper alternative to much more expensive bags. To test if you are wrapping correctly, try it with your cell phone, Wrap it good to make sure how many layers will be required with the aluminum foil you are using (I use heavy duty). If your cell does not receive the call when while it is wrapped, you are doing well and have achieved a high enough attenuation rate to defend against an EMP blast. Please feel free to ask questions.
