Epiphone Epiphone 1961 Les Paul SG Standard Aged Sixties Cherry [SN 21101527404] The “1961 Les Paul SG Standard” is a reproduction of the Les Paul SG that first appeared in 1961, developed in collaboration with Epiphone and Gibson Custom Shop. The two-piece solid mahogany, double cutaway body is beveled with the Custom Shop design, and the neck side features the one-piece mahogany, slim-taper C-shape neck profile used on the legendary early Les Paul SG models. The long pickguard is modeled after the specifications of the past, Gibson BurstBucker humbucking pickups wired with CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, Graph Tech nut, Switchcraft output jack and toggle switch, etc., etc., etc. The tuner knob features a historic double double-sided tuner with a double-sided tuner knob and a double-sided tuner knob.
