Discover the Dainese Avro 5 Leather JacketThe Dainese Avro 5 Leather Jacket is the new motorcycle jacket by Dainese. This sportbike jacket is the successor to the Dainese Avro 4 Leather Jacket inspired by the suits of MotoGP riders.SafetyThe Dainese Avro 5 Leather jacket is EN17092 AA-certified. The jacket has co-injected shoulders with metal inserts, which mean that it has plastic injected over a net covered in polyurethane instead of the usual removable composite protection. This gives a great protection and makes the jacket look good. A pocket is made inside this structure to hold a metal plate secured by rivets on the inside.The leather motorcycle jacket also contains racing-derived protectors on the elbows and shoulders for protection and ergonomics for the best freedom possible. At the back of the jacket, there is a pocket for the G1 and G2 back protectors, which can be removed. The men’s jacket version also includes an inner pocket for double chest protectors.MaterialThis motorcycle jacket is made of Dainese Tutu Cowhide leather. This leather provides high performance when it comes to abrasion resistance and wear & tear resistance. The premium quality raw materials in the jacket provide great comfort and performance even when exposed to extreme conditions because of its waterproofing and oil-repellent properties. The S1 fabric improves comfort and also facilitates airflow through the jacket. This is made of elastomer coated with Cordura polyamide, which gives great mechanical strength and elastic properties.The Dainese patented micro-elastic technology is made of one large panel in leather which allows for movement in two directions, width and length, offering the rider great freedom of movement in the kidney area when hunched over the fuel tank as well as in the chest area and arms. The elastic inserts in strategic positions improve the jacket’s capacity for adaptation to the body as it changes shape and moves while riding.Comfort and VentilationThe jacket comes with a removable thermal liner, which offers high-heat insulation while maintaining a steady internal temperature, which can also be used separately. Using materials like these reduces the weight and thickness of Dainese linings without reducing thermal capabilities or riding comfort.The jacket features Dainese S1 Bielastic panels, which help in flexibility and stretch on crucial parts of the jacket. Dainese Microelastic inserts can be found on the back and arms of the jacket for ease of movement.The neck part contains a soft and stretch Veloce racing neck construction. The shape and design reduces pressure on the sides of the neck and at the throat level while improving freedom of movement when tucked on the motorbike in a racing position.The jacket also features one waterproof inner pocket to store valuables like smartphones, wallets, keys, etc. The jacket includes waist adjustments. A jacket-pants fastening system also removes the possibility of air penetrating through the gap between the jacket and pants. It ensures that both garments fit the body perfectly in all situations.The sides of this jacket contain wide air vent zippers to provide excellent airflow during summer rides. The inner mesh liner is breathable and has 3D bubble inserts. This 3D fabric creates an air chamber between the inside and outside of the jacket, making an insulating liner that maintains an ideal microclimate during summer and winter weather.The jacket has been designed in different versions for men and women.
