Today we are happy to offer for sale a great vintage obsolete Kern County of California Sheriff’s Dept badge stamping die. This obsolete police badge stamping die was manufactured to be used by the Sheriff’s Department of Kern County, CA. The heavy (over 19lbs) stamping die is solidly built and features a 7-point star with foliate designs inset with a medallion with “Kern County * Sheriff’s Dept*” inside. The die has fine and crisp detailing. It is marked with the number “B2271 S7 5-95″ on one end. Die presents well and is in very good vintage condition, with wear, oxidation, and patina commensurate with age. This rare and historic law enforcement artifact will make an outstanding addition to any antique and vintage badge and die collection…Fresh to the market! Note: Thi is only 1/2 of the die ( the back was common to many other dies) and cannot be used to manufacture more badges. It is only suitable for collector enjoyment.
