Fantastic unique and unusual set of antique Victorian miniature dollhouse furniture. I would say that the scale is slightly larger than traditional 1:12 scale furnishings, but could work in a 1:12 house depending on your room sizes. This size is typically seen in the larger scale antique German dollhouses. But what an amazing and rare find this was. You get a fabulous corner sofa unit with purple velvet upholstery, a buffet, a china cabinet or bookcase, a table and three chairs. The chairs also have purple upholstery. The sofa is 4″ tall at its tallest point, each side is 6 1/4″ long and it is 2″ wide. The cabinet is 6″ tall, is 4 1/4″ wide and is 1 7/8″ deep and has a glass front that opens with 2 shelves. The buffet is 4 3/8″ tall, is 7 7/8″ long and is 2 3/4″ deep.It has three opening doors and there is a gap between two of the doors when closed that you can see in the photos. The table is 2 7/8″ tall and measures 4 7/8″ across in diameter. The chairs are 4″ tall, are 2 1/4″ wide and are 2 1/2″ deep. The table has an old glued repair on one leg. One chair has some damage on the back that I’ve tried to show in the photos. There is surface wear and maybe some paint touch-ups. The set is in as found condition from and estate auction. All shows some surface wear and the velvet on one chair is a bit matted but this is a truly unusual set of antique furniture. The room box is not included with the listing and was used for photographic display purposes only. Please read my sales policies before buying or bidding.
