Andy Warhol Rare Vintage 1983 Original Candy Box Heart Poster MISC 03.2012 $250 BIN YOU ARE PURCHASING: Andy Warhol Rare Vintage 1983 Original Candy Box Heart Poster This original, vintage exhibition poster created produced in 1983 for an exhibition at Galerie Silvia Menzel in Berlin and comes directly from the estate of Andy Warhol. The poster features one of Warhol’s paintings of a heart-shaped chocolate candy box, paintings he made many of as personal gifts for friends. These paintings still discretely reference his interest in packaging, as evidenced by his Campbell’s Soup Cans and Brillo Boxes. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a rare and out-of-print poster directly from Warhol’s own personal collection. Proceeds directly benefit the non-profit charitable organization he founded with the mission to advance the visual arts. Since its inception in 1987, The Andy Warhol Foundation has been a stalwart advocate for freedom of expression, supporting work that is experimental and challenging in nature and from communities that have been historically marginalized.
