THIS IS A STUNNING MID-SIZE VINTAGE 1957 ROLEX OYSTER “ROYAL” WRISTWATCH IN STAINLESS STEEL. DESCRIPTION.This is an beautiful example of the Rolex Oyster, Ref. 6444 Made in 1957. This Rolex Oyster is in good condition for it age. The stunning original black unrestored dial has gold batons with dauphine hands and simply looks gorgeous. The stainless steel case is in very good condition with light age related makes. The very high grade 17 jewels movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker. Its still retain is original Rolex oyster winding crown. To complete this fantastic piece, we’ve put it on a new super high quality leather strap and stainless steel buckle. CASE.The stainless-steel case and bezel are in good condition with age related wear. The case measures 32mm across without the Rolex oyster screw-down crown. Inside the case back all the marks are correct as expected: Montres Rolex S.A, Geneva Suisse, . With the Rolex model reference number 6444. It also have many service marking from over the years so it was a very cared for Rolex. DIAL.The stunning original black dial agd very nicely with light age related marks to it. This Rolex watch oozes 1950s style and elegance.The dial is signed: Rolex Oyster Royal, Shock-Resisting, Swiss. MOVEMENT.The very high grade 17 jewels manual wind movement is in very good condition. The movement is signed: Rolex, Swiss Made, 17 Jewels. Please note: All of the watches we sell are not waterproof unless stated in the listing. The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker. STRAP.To finish this beautiful watch off, it comes on a new, very high quality Hirsch strap and stainless steel buckle.
