**Finish Note – Blemished**These Daniel Carpenter Reproduction coupe quarter windows are being offered in a slightly blemished condition. The blemished areas can be found on the molding portion surrounding the actual glass itself. Each window edge is inconsistent on what blemishes may be present. Some windows have all of the blemishes pictured above, and some only have a few blemishes. These areas are discolored, have inconsistent texture, and in some instances have small cracks when compared with new material. Small knicks in the glass itself may be present as well. These blemishes do not affect the operation or the overall function of the window itself. They are purely cosmetic. Above, you will see some photos of a representation of the types of blemishes you might experience on a set of quarter windows that are exclusively in this offer. Please note that the blemishes may vary in location, size, and appearance. The above photos are general representations of the blemishes. No returns. 1987-1993 Mustang Coupe Quarter Windows – BlemishedProperly restore the exterior of your 1987-1993 Mustang coupe with a set of brand new coupe quarter windows from Daniel Carpenter Reproductions! Deterioration due to UV exposure, harsh heat, wind, rain, and other elements may have caused pitting and fading on the edges of your quarter windows which can quickly diminish the look of your Fox Body coupe. For years the easiest solution to this problem was to purchase a set of Carlite coupe quarter windows. Over time, Carlite stopped manufacturing these windows and have since become extremely hard to find, costing thousands of dollars for a NOS set. Another option has been to have your factory windows refinished, but this process can take months and the results could be less than satisfactory. Daniel Carpenter Reproductions has set out to resolve this issue by engineering a factory-quality coupe quarter window set at an economical price! These quarter window pairs feature improved design cues such as enlarged moldings, new mounting studs and all new hardware for the perfect weekend restoration project! DCR Factory-Quality ConstructionDaniel Carpenter Reproductions has been a trusted name in the Mustang community and is known for producing high-quality products with factory fit and finish. These coupe quarter windows exceed that standard thanks to their meticulous attention to detail. Starting with the signature Mustang script in the back corner of the window, this text is licensed by Ford to meet their strict branding standards to ensure you’re getting the same look as the original window. Each tempered glass window has a factory-style frit band on the inside perimeter of the glass with the correct dot matrix and is encapsulated with a modern, polyurethane blend compound to provide a factory look and finish that’s DOT approved! Factory Style MoldingsIn most cases, the primary reason for new windows is the deteriorated moldings around your coupe quarter windows. Surrounding the perimeter and backside of these new windows is fresh molding throughout. DCR made it a priority to slightly oversize this molding on the outside perimeter to ensure any cars that have been re-painted will not have an exposed paint line after installation which is common on refurbished windows. These moldings have the subtle, but necessary, grooved accent line that runs across the top of the window and down the rear slanted edge. New mounting studs with factory thread pitch are pre-installed to the backside of the window and align perfectly with the existing holes on the body of your coupe. To seal the deal, LMR includes a 15′ roll of 3M window sealer as well as new quarter window attaching nuts with pre-installed mastic sealer to ensure a leak-free installation. Installation Note18 attaching nuts are included, but only need 14 for installation.
