Description 100W RF Dummy Load DC-3GHz Walkie Talkie Shortwave Radio Load 50ohms with N-M Connector Description: – It is suitable for devices with a power below 100W. If it is a high-power transmitting device such as a shortwave radio amplifier with a power greater than 100W, it is recommended to purchase another 200W dummy load from our store. It can be used for any radio transmitter within the frequency range of 0-3000MHz. Whether you has a handheld radio, car radio, shortwave radio, FM transmitter, microwave equipment, mobile phone base station, WIFI amplifier, wireless link, amplifier, or RF amplifier, they can all be used with this product. The overall dimensions of the main body are approximately 120 x 100 x 60 millimeters (excluding protruding connector dimensions), and the weight is approximately 0.7 kilograms. The load is an N-pin interface, equipped with an adapter that can be converted to an M-pin. – The purpose of a false load is one of the instruments used to test the transmission power of a radio station. It is used to replace an antenna because the response frequency, impedance, and input power of the antenna are inconsistent at different frequencies, making it difficult to accurately reflect the actual power of the radio station. Therefore, a dummy load with a constant impedance of 50ohms throughout the required frequency band and sufficient input power is used to replace the antenna and obtain accurate measurement data. When in use, as shown in the figure, the input terminal (TX) of the power meter is connected to the radio station to send the transmission signal, and the output terminal (ANT) is connected to the dummy load. The load is equipped with an adapter, which can be used for N, M-type interface radio and power meter connection. – Dummy load is also one of the commonly used instruments for repairing radio transmitters, which can be connected to this load for transmission without connecting the antenna. And it will not radiate a large amount of harmful interference waves into the air. – Treat the dummy load as a low efficiency antenna for the entire frequency band. At this point, there is no need to consider the frequency issue. The dummy load can transmit at any frequency, but if used as an antenna, most of its transmission power is consumed internally by the resistor and will not be transmitted into the air. Therefore, it is limited to communication environments with a short visible range and does not want other devices in the surrounding area to receive the signal you transmit. For example, a communication range of about 100 meters within a classroom or laboratory depends on the actual usage environment and equipment transmission power.
