I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I must part with some of my collection. THIS IS MY LAST ONE! This is the part of Dragon’s 1/16 Warrior Series figures. This looks to me to be a generic German SS tank commander from late WWII, possibly during the Ardennes Campaign or Battle of the Bulge. He could be displayed on his own with the base provided or next to a 1/16 Panther, Tiger or even King Tiger. He can be shown carrying a headset or an MP40 machine gun. I found a handful of listings for this kit on eBay (from a variety of sellers), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this to you quickly. Here are some of the details about this figure that I found from around the web: The Dragon Models site (dragon-models.com) still has a page showing the box art figure and the titles 1/16 Tank Crew 1944/45 and SS Tank Crew 1944/45. Scalemates.com has a listing that shows the box art but has almost no useful information about the kit. I couldn’t find any reviews for this exact kit, but there was a nice review for a similar kit (DML #1620), and I am sure the comments would apply equally well to this kit. aur0ra145 posted a Build Review of Dragon #1620 to the intscalemodeller.com forum pages with five large photos of his completed figure. I am not sure what his experience level is, but the guy turned out really well! He starts his review with: “First figure I’ve ever done. Basically did it in a day. I’ll definitely try more in the future.” This figure kit comes in a sturdy 11.5” x 7.5” x 2” box. As you can see from the pictures, the package is pristine and still sealed with shrink wrap, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with over 25 plastic and photo etched metal parts to create a German Tank crewman from 1944 (or 1945) along with a stand for him to pose on and an optional MP40 weapon.
